Indeed, an incredible old church, just 50 km from Kiev, the legacy of the Zaporozhye Cossacks. I would like this place to become a tourist magnet and the building to be preserved at least in this form. Whoever will pass by be sure to look, who knows how long they will stand, or they will begin to reconstruct it and it will be in a different guise. P.s. Only now, on one of the photos, I saw someone's legs under the door.

The ruins of the Trinity Church preserves many secrets. It was erected in 1784 on the site of a wooden church, which lasted about 200 years. The Cossack colonel Grigory Ivanenko was bothering about the construction, because the village of Ostroluchie had long been the property of the Cossacks. The temple was completely completed in 1787, at the same time a two-tier bell tower was built separately, which, unfortunately, did not survive. Divine services were held in the church until the Bolsheviks arrived in 1917. Under Soviet rule, the church was turned into a shop and the Ostrolutsk consumer society. The shrine failed to restore its work.

Ruins of the former Trinity Church. Everything in the grass. Even the wires are electric torn as well as sockets and switches. Only the old Soviet electric cup insulators are left, which are nailed to the wall with dowels. It used to be the main Cossack church. The grandeur of the village.

A wonderful architectural monument. Is in a very deplorable condition. It takes a lot of money to restore the temple. I would like to have such an ancient shrine in the area not destroyed. Tourists would be happy to visit this place.

It is a pity that there were only ruins left. I hope it comes to the restoration of such monuments of architecture and spiritual heritage of the country.
