in Russian ?! disgusting. The sign at the entrance reads "Ukrainian Orthodox Church" without mentioning the Moscow Patriarchate, and here the church is named - the Russian Orthodox Church. Isn't this a manipulation of the consciousness of the parishioners? In general, Moscow's churches are similar to Trojan horses in their modern form. Therefore, there is nothing to be surprised by negative social processes and even war! . (

As foreigners like to write - "The most underrated place" is the most underrated place among all monasteries and temples in all Kiev! Located in Podil, the Nikolo-Jordan monastery is located in a quiet secluded "corner" at the foot of Mount Yurkovitsa. The monastery is very old, according to Wikipedia, even IX-XIII centuries, with its incredible stories, why it is so named and what miracles happened in it. At the church there is a sisterhood of mercy in honor of the Royal Passion-Bearers, nursing the patients of the Psychoneurological Dispensary No. 3 and feeding the homeless.

A place of prayer and coming before God. Prayers are served every day, and the Liturgy happens on big holidays, special days of remembrance and on Sundays. The temple is dedicated to Nicholas the Wonderworker, there is a temple font in honor of the feast of the Baptism of the Lord. Healing spring with tasty water. The font is open for dipping every day from 12 to 14. And this is a miracle for me. In Epiphany days you can plunge without fear of freezing in the winter wind - because the font is in the room. You can always get water here, just take bottles with you. On the hill is an ancient cemetery. They buried there from the time before the Baptism of Russia. Separately, there are burials of the 17th century - a monastic cemetery. The newest graves are the beginning of the 20th century. Sisters of mercy and workers maintain cleanliness and order in the territory. From early spring to late autumn, flowerbeds bloom here.
