My wife and I went to this church specially for Easter in 2012, after she visited here as part of an excursion to Askania Nova with her team and son. Liked both children and adults. At that time, the priest here was a very old priest (disabled WWII), he is the confessor of the diocese, which means he is very respected. It is interesting that the priest lives in a room under the church steps (the door is visible in the photographs). Oaks are planted to the reservoir from the church, and the priest plants and cares. Beautiful view of the Kakhovskoye reservoir. The parish is small, there is no crush in the church, people are polite. We were strangers there (from another area), but everyone greeted each other, in a family way. Definitely worth a visit.
