The Alder Church even became a legend about the founding of the village: according to legend, sometime in the 17th century a woman with two daughters came to the valley of the Black Tisza from the Yablunytsya Pass and settled here, between the mountains. And in those days just opryshki with gentlemen in Carpathians fought, hid in woods. A detachment of people's avengers once drove past a hut set up by a woman. The boys stopped and fell in love. They immediately decided to marry their daughters. Only the priest was missing - he was abducted from Prykarpattia. And so they began to gas over the Black Tisza. More and more huts appeared around the hut, and fugitives from the other side of the mountains reached and reached the place. So the alder church was built - and where there is a church, there is a village. With sourdough water. Yeast!
