On our last major vacation we(my wife, year and half son, my brother and his girlfriend) decided to go to Ukraine, Hungary, and Switzerland. I was fortunate to get an introduction to Rowan through a colleague and consider the tours with him and Natalia the highlight of our trip. It was my first time to an Eastern European country and having them tour us on all Kiev had to offer seeing the different architecture and of course attending the famous opera, which was a first for me, was such an experience. Getting the perspective of a local in Natalia was very interesting and as well the knowledge of the local cuisine and restaurant recommendations was a huge bonus. The rest of our travelling in Hungary and Switzerland we used the more traditional hop on hop off bus which is always great but really getting the more personalized tour was worth it for us and would recommend the Ukraine Culture trip to anyone. Keep up the good work Rowan and Natalia!

It was amazing! I had such a great time with Ukraine Culture Trip. I was traveling from San Francisco and was in Kiev for one whole week. My trip was arranged by Ukraine Culture Trip and we visited many awesome places and had a great time! I would highly recommend Ukraine Culture Trip to anyone who is planning to visit Ukraine or even just travel in general. They are absolutely the best! I had so much fun and will love to go back again soon and will definitely engage Ukraine Culture Trip again. The best!!

Kiev is a city like no other. It’s history, caught between Russia and Europe, is fascinating and gives its memorials and statues real interest. The churches and monasteries have colourful gilded domes and the architecture is elegant and varied in a lush green setting. Even the metro, deep below the streets, has splendid chandeliers and mosaics. But, for a European, it can be hard to work out how to put together an itinerary. Most of us can’t read or speak the language. It’s not a common tourist destination, and whatever your interests, it rewards those who dig beneath the surface to find its hidden gems. This is where the guidance of a local is just invaluable. I can wholeheartedly recommend asking someone who’s grown up there where to go and how best to plan the day.

My family and I visited the Ukraine with the help of Natalia and really enjoyed visiting such a different place to our own (the UK). What helped us make the most of it was people who knew the place, sounds obvious, but it just makes sightseeing and experiencing its culture to the fullest so much easier. I am almost always taken back by the generous hospitality so integral to a lot of Eastern European cultures and this is something I remember fondly of our experience arranged by Natalia. She along with her team have a wealth of knowledge and are genuinely really lovely and warm people who are both gifted and experienced in what they do. Thanks so much for enriching our trip to the Ukraine!

We had the most remarkable family tour with Rowan and Natalia. We were traveling with a young child and felt that in every instance our guides truly cared about us and offered to help in anyway possible. During our trip we attended the Champions League final game. Natalia and Rowan recommended all the great spots around the fan zone before and after the game. They also helped us arrange babysitting for our child. It was the trip of a lifetime!
