The previous wooden modest church (1924) by St. Arch. St. Michael, who was a parish church (belonged to the church in the village of Hrabuzna) The villas began to be built in the 1840s, when Fr. Ivan Strelbitsky. The temple was consecrated on November 21, 1861 for the service of another priest, Fr. Yevhen Mokritsky. During the First World War, the church was burned down. The important role in the Wyrl parish was played by Fr. Joseph Filippovich. He was appointed administrator, and soon a priest. Filipovich in 1924 called on the inhabitants of the village to build a new wooden church, apparently on the site of the previous one, near the cemetery. Work continued until 1927 - when the church was consecrated. During the communist rule, the church was forcibly closed from 1961 to 1991. After that, a small three-story, one-story building was handed over to the faithful of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Later, in the process of repair, the walls under fire, as well as the walls of the sacristy for some reason stained solution.
