Church of the Transfiguration The Roman Catholic Church in Sarny is located at 7 Kostelna Street. Built in 1936-1939 instead of the old wooden temple. Students of the Jagiellonian University helped with the construction. According to the project, another bell tower was planned, which was not built due to the beginning of the war. In Soviet times, the church operated until 1959, then was closed. A granary was built here, then a food warehouse. The church was returned to the faithful in 1991. The renovated church was consecrated on August 5, 1995
