On the road from Orzhitsa to Chernobay is the village of Krestitelevo, in which, on the main street, stands the Church in honor of John the Baptist. The iconic village and temple are named after John the Baptist and the events of baptism. The village has been known since the mid 18th century. The temple was built in the form of a temple fortress with elements of Ukrainian Baroque. Behind the temple, a beautiful view of the meadows and levada opens.
