The ruins of a Lutheran church in the former German colony of Neiburg in the Libental Colonial District. Neuburg was founded in 1804 on the banks of the Baraboy River. In 1832 the first temple was built here. In 1896, Nieburg was renamed to Vladimir. The modern church was built in 1903 in the Gothic style. The architect was the famous Saxon and Odessa architect Christian Betelsbacher. It is a majestic basilica, with narthex and transept. At the main entrance was a tall tent bell tower. The temple is brick, decorated with Gothic decor. The main entrance is oriented to the east. The organ for the buck was purchased in 1904 from the well-known Austrian firm "Gebruder Rieger". The elements of the ceramic glazed tile have been preserved from the coating. In the 1930's the church was closed, later converted to a cultural home. The bell tower was dismantled, some of the windows were bricked up. A four-column portico was added to the main facade. A public toilet (!) Was erected near the altar. The village was renamed again to Novogradkivka (now Ovidiopol district of Odessa region). The USSR emblem and the inscription "House of Culture" are still preserved on the main facade. For many years the former church has been abandoned. The roof and floors fell, the interiors destroyed. A new Orthodox church is being built nearby. What is waiting for this wonderful monument? For - the Neburg Church is one of the largest and most beautiful German colonial temples of Ukraine .... (in the note the materials of VN Vasilenko's article "Features of Church Architecture in the German Colonies of the" Odessa Water "(XIX-beginning of XX centuries." Odessa, 2003) are used.
