Cave Church of the Kitaevsky Monastery. Here is the entrance to small and shallow caves, where monks retired. On weekdays - closed. When open, admission is free. Candles are sold at the entrance, you need to buy them. So help brothers monks in caring for caves, and lighting in dark caves. To find them, you need to go over the lakes, and climb the long wooden stairs to the hill. From there, a beautiful view of the entire Kitaevskaya Desert.

Noteworthy place on the tourist map of Kiev, almost no visitors. Open only on Saturdays-Sundays at certain hours. The underground caves and passages are quite cold, so if you plan to visit this place with children, it is better to have extra clothing, even in the summer. It's a pity that there is no guide; I think there is something to tell about

There are caves open on Saturdays and Sundays for visitors. Impressions from visiting are weird, around dark, light from candles ..

The place is interesting. Shrouded in mystery. Place of power. Like the whole Kitaevskaya desert. The fact that the Elder Dosifei himself is a man of legend (from the birth of Darya Tyapkin) already causes admiration and awe to this place. Not polluted by tourists (yes many in general about such a place as Kitaevo do not know), with beautiful nature, clean energy. The cars remain far from here, beyond the territory of the Chinas Monastery. And then the mystery of unity with nature begins. Walking past lakes and up the mountain. The stairs are wooden. High but worth it. I recommend. Only chur not litter.

A cozy, unencumbered place for tourists. Left between the first and second ponds, 150 steps up - and the landscape opens to China. There is no charge for entrance to the caves. They usually give a few hryvnias for donation, buy at the entrance to the minister in the candle. The caves are open for visitation from 10am to 4pm, except Monday. Sometimes, closing at a sanitary hour at any time may or may not warn ((
