Be sure to visit this beautiful temple and plan your time for Sunday's service. In Ukrainian at 11 o'clock Kyiv time.

February 28 was at Holy Mass. The excellent sermon of Father Alexander made me look at some moments of my life in a different way, the mass was held simultaneously in Ukrainian and Hungarian. Great atmosphere. Despite the fact that it was at 9:00 in the morning, an organ sounded at a private mass (ordered for my mother-in-law). Donations are exclusively voluntary. Acquaintance with Father Alexander made a lasting impression on me. This is a man of generous soul and deep spirituality, open, competent, delicate and generally worthy of the best epithets. Lord grant him his inexhaustible grace in love, strengthening faith, help in all difficult situations and save from all troubles and temptations.

Historical value, beautiful painting, stone altar. The temple was built from the ruins of Khust Castle after its destruction. Permission dated August 10, 1799.

On August 10, 1799, the Roman Catholic community of Khust, the government allowed to disassemble the eastern part of the castle and use this cheap building material for the construction of the Roman Catholic Church. The bell, which is now in the church, also comes from the time tower of the Khust castle. Moved here was from the castle and the original clock, which miraculously survived the fire. When it was installed it turned out that the damage was only a battle mechanism, which had to be replaced by new ones. Today the clock shows the local time. The first priest who worshiped here was P. Innocent Shimenliius (Shimonishich). He may have been responsible for building this temple. Shimonishich was a highly educated person. He was the first in the history of our region to collect a huge historical material about Maramaroshyn. The archival documents of 1802 testify that Shimonishich on the walls of the newly built church ordered the inscription: "Narcissus Khust membrane sum, Noni vinet, sed lacerante - Exteth uti e Foretor ara dei", which in translation means "This part of the castle of Khust, destroyed, but invincible - stronger on the throne of a living God ". From the Middle Ages there is one of the largest shrines of the Catholics - the Santultar. Catholics call it "the Holy of Holies." Sentoltar - the holy altar - is made of genuine gold in Turkey and symbolizes the body of Jesus Christ. It has the appearance of a king's gate, about 50 cm by 30 cm. On holidays, it is displayed on a table specially made for this purpose in 1941. To the temple, this shrine fell from one of Transylvanian princes. In 1944, before the arrival of the Soviet troops in Khust, they wanted to send this holy shrine to Budapest, and the parishioners were not allowed to do so and kept it to this day. In the days of great holidays, everyone can see this shrine and pray to her. At the Roman Catholic Church of St. Anne there is a church choir, which can be enjoyed by singing during worship. The church can be visited on weekends and in the days of religious holidays.
