Uspensʹka Derev'yana Tserkva

This is a very good place. The temple is in excellent condition. The church in Novoselytsia is one of the smallest in Transcarpathia, but it was lucky to combine (and, importantly, preserve to this day) so many unique elements: and impeccable proportions, harmoniously inscribed in the mountain landscape, and authentic, subtle architectural details have been worked out, from window panes to an archaic wooden door mechanism. The Church of the Assumption is one of the few Transcarpathian churches where frescoes have been preserved, a recognized pearl of Ukrainian monumental art. And it is in the Novoselytsia church that it is most fully preserved (only the church in Oleksandrivka can compete). Due to this, the church has the status of a museum. Probably, this is one of the most remote from the "civilization" museums, because Novoselytsia is quite high in the mountains, and even the road to it will bring many impressions of the surrounding landscapes. This church is a museum, but it is ruled once a year - Easter evening for Easter itself.
