Peter and Paul Church in the village of Uklyn is an architectural monument. Now the church is not functioning, and all church utensils have been transferred to the new church. Centuries ago, in many remote villages, where it was not possible to build a large church, the construction of small religious buildings was widespread. Only three such buildings have survived to the present day. One of them is located in the village of Uklin. This small wooden church - the Church of St. Peter and Paul is the oldest church in Svalyava. Its existence is mentioned in historical sources for 1733. The temple was built of wood from an old church that existed here before. To this day, it has remained virtually unchanged, except that it was covered with tin.
