Church of the Assumption of the Virgin. 1907. (UGCC) One of the largest in the Mukachevo region (area - 488 sq. M). There are few such temples in Transcarpathia, and they were built mainly in valley villages. The main facade with two towers is especially solemn. The foundation was consecrated on June 30, 1907 by Fr. Georgy Shuba, when an old wooden church was still standing nearby. The interior was decorated much later. The iconostasis was made in 1909-1910. The oil painting on the metal of 44 icons was made by the artist Julius Virag, but the local icons are painted in Hungarian with the dates "Kevsegi 1909" and "Silvai 1910". Virag's brush also has a large image of the "First Pure". The gilding of the iconostasis, the castellan, thrones and other objects was performed by the local pastor Fr. Stefan Grenio, thus saving the community about 6,000 crowns. The decorated church was blessed in 1931 by Canon O. Ilnytsky. The oldest bell dates from 1896, the other two - from 1924. In 1987 the church was renovated.
