History of the parish In 1629, Wrath was first mentioned in written sources. In 1776 the church of St. Mateusz in Voroshilovka. This parish included the villages of Hryzhyntsi, Hnivan, Ilkivka, Mohylivka, Sutysky, Vytava and others. In 1899, the Catholics of the Voroshilovka parish appealed to the bishop of the Lutsk-Zhytomyr diocese to build a new church on the left bank of the Bug River, but not in Voroshilovka. And in 1903 the construction of the church in Gnivan began. And in 1906 the consecration of a new church under the auspices of St. Joseph in Wrath. In 1930, the communist authorities removed the bells from the church and handed them over to the needs of the electrical industry. Then the cross is removed from the church tower. And in 1935 the church was completely closed, and the church was redesigned and there was a dormitory for firefighters. At the turn of 1940-50, the room was empty, the roof was half missing. In 1958, work began on the construction of a repair and bearing plant in the church. As a result, the church lost its architectural appearance, the church was divided into four floors. The Gnievan Roman Catholic community was registered in the early 1990s, in 1988. The parishioners began active work for the return of the church building. And already in 1990 the management of the enterprise vacated the fourth floor and believers could take part in the Divine Service there on Sundays and holidays. And on February 22, 1992, the parish community postponed the state decision to hand over the church to the faithful in Hnivan, and in June the restoration of the church by the Missionaries of the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary began. On August 12, 1994, a cross was erected on the church tower, and on December 24, 1995, new bells rang for the first time in the church. After the restoration of the church was completed on September 14, 1997, the church was reconsecrated by Bishop Jan Olshanski.

A beautiful church, very atmospheric. You can take beautiful photos or just take a walk nearby.

Place requested. They are welcomed, as in the CCP, in the Christian "Glory to Jesus Christ!" Roman Catholics.

Unusual architecture, the temple is very cozy and beautiful. Beautiful grounds near the church. The history of the church is written on a stand inside the temple.
