Tserkva S. Khyzhyntsi

The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1869. The church is wooden on a brick foundation. It is not known whether the church originally looked like this. It can be said that only the bell tower has survived, and the stone building at the back was erected in Soviet times on the site of the main part of the temple. Usually at that time such churches were built in the synodal architectural type and it seems that this was similar. It can be assumed that the main building of the temple was dismantled in Soviet times or it was damaged during wars or fires. Today the church looks a bit special and this gives it a certain uniqueness. It is active and is the spiritual center of the village.

Were passing through, the church looks authentic. They didn’t go inside, so I judge only by external data.
