Church of the Resurrection. 1805.

Church of the Resurrection in the village of Snytin, Lubensky district, Poltava region. The temple was built in 1805 at the expense of fellow fellow landowners, landowners Alexander Andriyovich Novitsky. The architecture of the temple is a transition from Baroque to classicism. By typology, it refers to the halls of temples, but looks like a cartilaginous tetrakhon in appearance, because to the three entrances are attached conch-shaped stalls. The fourth conch is the apse of the altar. The church is decorated with wide rusty pilasters and elaborate eaves of intricate profile. It used to have a high top, now replaced by a small top. Despite its small size, the Resurrection Church is an extremely monumental building. Monument of architecture of national importance №1481. It needs restoration - exterior walls without plaster, the lower part of the walls dies and collapses, there is no paving, the side porches are destroyed .... The temple is located near the ancient Russian settlement of old Ksnyatin, founded in 988 as a fortress of the Posul defense line of Kievan Rus ...
