Scenic location with breathtaking views. Very nice

One of the oldest churches in western Ukraine. It was built in the 12th century. The church is active. It is better to get there with one of the locals. Easier to find. And there is something to see. One view from the bank along which you come down to the river and to the opposite bank, where the church itself stands, is simply amazing. There is a source of pure holy water near the church. Water goes constantly and you can collect as much as you need.

An interesting place, especially the road that transports the dead.

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1623) is one of the few five-chiseled temples of the Hutsul region that underlies the plan of the cross. The services are ruled by the Sun every three weeks, as the village has several churches. When we arrived in Pistin, the temple was closed. They found a gentleman in the village who kindly agreed to open the temple and gave us a tour. On the eve of our visit there was a temple holiday, so we had the opportunity to see the shroud (pictured).
