The best travel agency ever

I have taken a dozen great tours with this company, then had a heart episode so had to cancel a tour in the last week. Their policy states that I would get only 20% back, but given my long patronage I would have expected to be given a break. I was not, and rather rudely at that. I understand that people abuse the kindness of tour operators, but I would have expected at least some kind of compromise. I am very disappointed and in the future will be organizing my own tours. I even read their translations into English for them and helped with those, without compensation. Very, very disappointed.

Want to tell you a story about a cool tour operator? About which everyone writes, but, unfortunately, we did not find it .. 14.02 Valentine's Day We decided to give the parents a tour on this date. They are going to the Carpathians for the first time in 10 years. My sister and I warned the operator that we pay for everything and all questions to us, because for parents it is a vacation. Agreed. Shortly before the tour we were warned that there may be a change of route due to weather conditions. This was treated with understanding. But further more interesting. The parents were sent on a tour and another UAH 150 was taken from them by bus for a change of route. This is provided that: 1. we paid for everything 2. when we were told about a possible change of route, we were not told anything about the surcharge 3. Instead of Tustan, the group went to the park and museum in Skole, which is closer, and the ticket is cheaper than in Tustan (and tickets to Tustan were already included in the tour price). The second part of the story is the situation in the vats. People had a choice, spa or tubs. The driver went to the spa and said: "I will not go to the tub, because the weather conditions, there is no turning around." In the evening, people walked 2.5 km to the vats. Our parents are not athletes, this must be agreed with them in advance. It was difficult for many. When I personally called the travel agency about this situation, I was told that they knew it would happen and that the bus would not be able to approach the vats. BUT no one came up with something to tell us when we chose spas or vats. You know what's interesting, the group that went to the vats on foot, respectively, was late, and instead of 1.5 hours, it was so 45 minutes. and so on What did we get from the travel agency in return? We were refunded UAH 150, which they took from our parents on the bus for changing the route. Question, and the other 38 participants got their money back? They offered a 10% discount for another round. Do you think I will want to send someone else this tour and will I use a discount of -10%, probably a rhetorical question, right?)
