On March 22, 1940, from the village of Mali Seliszcza, my grandfather was sent to Siberia with his mother and little brother, and my great-grandfather was murdered in Ostashkov.

The village of Czeremszanka, commune of Siedliszcze. In 1943 (late autumn or July), all residents of this village of Ukrainian nationality (including women, children and old people) armed with axes, forks, knives, murdered 162 Poles - village residents (settlers on the partitioned farm of Czeremszanka) and Tadeusz Frontczak , p. Franciszka, 9 years old from the Pia seczno colony (Siedliszcze commune). Earlier, when Poles were getting ready to leave - afraid of murders in the area - a Ukrainian delegation came with assurances that they are safe and that they can remain. The property of the murdered was plundered. 2-3 people were saved, including a man aged 30-35, with a broken arm and a cut head, and a 14-year-old boy who ran to the Myzowo railway station (Siedliszcze commune).
