Abandoned old church with a unique history and a romantic story of it's creation. Is one of the few churches in the world for both Catholics and Protestants.

The uniqueness of this church is that it combines Catholic and Orthodox styles. This may be due to the fact that Maria Apollinariivna herself was a believer in the Latin rite. Nearby in the same style as the church, erected a house of the parish school.

I really like the architecture of the church in the late 19th century. Orthodox believers and Catholics held services in the church. I was a parishioner of the temple for 4 years, so I know the history of the temple. The church is working. Services are conducted by Archimandrite Nikodim Kobzar.

To get to the church, you need to drive a little. There will be a small path leading to it, which is easy to miss. You need to be careful. The hill offers an amazing view of the chalk quarry in Mogritsa.

The church is very beautiful but no longer active. Another, still functioning, single-storey building is located nearby. Both buildings are located on the hill from which Mogrytsa village with its chasms can be seen. I advise you to visit.
