St. George's Church is a true symbol of the White Church. After all, this temple is depicted on the flag of the city. It is the St. George Church and is the same "White Church", in whose name the city is named. It took a long time after the temple was demolished, and it was decided to restore the legendary church relatively recently, in 2011. The church is built of brick and repeats the architectural style in which temples were erected during Kievan Rus' times. On all sides, the church is decorated with small icons. For some reason, the entrance to the church is closed by a black door, and therefore it is not known exactly what conceals the rebuilt White Church. The owners may be scared of the onslaught of tourists who will once again destroy the city symbol.

Nice building. During the visit, it was still under construction. The yard offers beautiful views of the Ros.

Needless, ugly construction. It would be better if the monument to Yaroslav the Wise stood there.

A defensive shaft of the lane was found at the research site. half of the 11th century, bastions of the 17th century, remains of buildings of a later period, but no hints of the remains of an ancient temple. So, if historical justice is to be restored, then Castle Hill should be a reconstruction of the defensive structures of the princely era or the fortress of the Cossack times, so most scholars believed. But the temple was built ..
