Great belfry. It looks very beautiful in one ensemble with the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God. Around the belfry itself there are many burials of prominent people - clergy, military and civilian. A lot of Kiev nobility. Most likely these people left their contribution not only in the area that they worked directly, but also in the development of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra in particular and Orthodoxy as a whole. How many times was in the Lavra, constantly the belfry was closed. And it would be very interesting to see how it is inside, and even more interesting - to climb it. God willing and this my dream will come true sometime.
