If you are a foreigner in Ukraine, then this is the information you are looking for. I went to this bank to open an account so that i can be able to do some online shopping. First, I asked them if their cards work online, and they said yes. I asked, so if I open an account, will I be able to deposit money into my account; and they said only if I have the proof of where I got the money. So, I went ahead and opened the account. After opening the bank account, I gave the lady the Western Union document which showed that I received money two weeks back. I also produced several documents that dated three months back. They gave me a run around for almost 5 days. Then they said if I had collected the money from their bank it would not be an issue. So, I received the money via Western Union the following day and went to them to collect it. After collecting it, they gave me a run around again until I decided enough is enough. I ASKED THEM TO CLOSE THE CARDS THEY HAD GIVEN ME and THEY HAPPILY DID SO. This is the worst bank that you can think of as a foreigner. I went to OSCHAD BANK and they did everything for me within a day. Privatbank does not value foreigners nor care about them. But I am happy they showed me their true colors from the start. You can check the papers they gave me after closing my bank cards.

Yes, there are long queues here, but I think this is normal in our country. You can exchange coins at the checkout (exchanged about 220 UAH). Thanks to Yulia Miroshnichenko :) Don't forget to pre-pack them! I think it will be unpleasant for everyone to count a trifle in a chaotic manner.
