The Urban Station

Flavor pop! There potato soup was freaking amazing. I can't wait to try more food. But I do agree with other reviewers...the lady working there was less than pleasant. It's a shame she puts a dent in things.

The food is great but the last 2 times I have been here I have been blamed for things out of my control or for orders that they made a mistake on. I was part of a meeting of more than 200 employees and the company released us for lunch. We decided on this place. Apparently several other groups did as well and we were told several times we should have called to warn them. Even after apologizing for something out of my control the owner continued to keep telling us that they were now behind because of us. If they had not taken my money I would have left. The second time was years later. They messed up the delivery order and 1 lunch was missing. Granted they made it free of charge and I was happy. However as soon as the owner got there she explained how it was somehow OUR fault!!! Thats fine with me. You will not see another penny of my money or the business that I work for.

While the food is mostly good. There are a few things to keep in mind:n- Google says they open at 10am, but it's really more like 11, they won't have decided on a special or have some items ready until then.n- You can't get regular onion, only pickled. My guess is so they don't have to keep them fresh.n- They don't appreciate infants inside. They actually told my wife (who was the only one there) that our quiet 6 month old baby shouldn't be there.n- Their menu online isn't up to date.nnI will say I appreciate them keeping the pickle separate from my sandwich.nAll that said I will probably return, but rarely. At least until a better sandwich place opens up.nI always feel like I'm inconveniencing them by being there.

Sandwiches are top notch. Almost always go for whatever the special of the day is. Unique, fresh, and always delicious. So glad for this option in Columbia City!

My first time stopping here was today and I have to say that what I ordered was Amazing ! It was the special. An Italian flatbread. I can't wait to go back !
