I visited here for an afternoon of backpacking. While I believe that horsemen are just as entitled to enjoy the outdoors as backpackers, it's such a shame how damaging that horses are to this beautiful place. The entire area was criscrossed with illegal side trails, littered with horse dung and generally trampled down. Definitely not one of the more beautiful places one can visit in the area. That is, I suppose, unless you're on a horse.
This is one of the few examples of beautiful nature in Indiana. I thought that this was an average park after a couple of camping trips, but then I got to see the north side of the lake.
So many great trails and great sites to see here! Beautiful waterfalls!
