Lovely spot. Good for walks and picnics.
The main part of the center seems to be closed because of the quarantine, but the restrooms are still open. They are nice, clean and oh so convenient.
Love the activities! We really enjoy Wednesdays in the Wild - this activity is usually in the early afternoon although at least once or twice a month it is in the evening. Great resource for homeschoolers. So far we've seen a dynamic presentation from Chad Evans (the local weatherman), a presentation about the Great Lakes fish, a presentation from the state botanist about the flora of Indiana, and tomorrow we're building a birdhouse. Presentations are free, and activities are mostly free unless they require supplies (eg - to make a birdhouse). We look forward to continue attending these events and learning to appreciate Indiana's natural beauty!
