I feel like I shouldn't say anything bad about the place, but honestly while being peaceful and all that it feels like an afterthought. Some random rocks arranged in a circle in a gravel pit in some random spot just off the trail. Maybe I am missing some context, but of all the monuments I've been too. Even amongst the rock piles I stumble upon in the wilderness and stones people arrange for the hell of it this was one of the sorriest.
Really interesting.
Great memorial for the Native Americans that were in the area prior to European influence in the area all but eliminating all of their cultures in the state. It gives a voice to a group of people that never got a chance during their time and hopefully gives future generations a lesson of tolerance.
What an awesome place! I really never expected to find something like this here. It has individual memorials to each of the tribes that were in tecumseh's Confederation of tribes. It really is a neat Memorial to this part of American History. I enjoyed it it was quite a pleasant surprise.
A peaceful place to reflect on what was some time ago. An awful shame of what happened to these major Indian tribes.
