With trails to follow, audio listening stories to take you back in time as you walk the trails, and with the museum onsite, you cant beat something like this.nBeautiful place to visit and rich history that is beginning to be forgotten. Take your kids!
Nice little quiet place amidst nature.
If you get a chance check out the heritage trail behind it as well.
If you love history, and especially Indiana history, this is a great place to visit. It's the site of the fight between Gen. Henry Harrison troops and The Prophet Indian tribe. There is a nice memorial, a few headstones in the battlefield area, and a historical meseum.nAs a bonus, in June of each yeah the Indiana Fiddler's Gathering meets here for a weekend of great mountain type music - both organized programs and a lot of ad hoc jamming on the grounds. It's a great event, not to be missed.
