When I walked into this place tucked next to a Uhaul store I wasn't expecting much. It isn't impressive. The salsa that came with the chips to start, was good, but fairly mediocre. I ordered enchiladas and a taco lunch plate, and my friend ordered the tacos and burrito plate , all with beef and because it came with no sides, no beans or rice I wasn't expecting much. When the waitress brought out our plates I was shocked at how much food this lunch serving was. The tacos and enchiladas were stuffed with so much meat I could just barely finish it. My friend could not finish his. We are both big eaters but this was an enormous amount of food and it was Delicious. I am used to enchiladas with a red sauce , but this had a very good green sauce and melted cheese. The meat was tasty and the soft taco was equally packed . They offered 2 sauces in bottles with the meal, a mild green one and a very hot red one. Excellent lunch at a great price.
Generally the foods pretty good.nnToday I asked for nachos with no lettuce or sour cream. They also left off beans and queso.
Amazing food, I look forward to eating at Magueys eveytime I come down to Lafayette! Its delicious and I would recommend this place 10/10!
Great food and service the location isn't bad and fair pricing
Portions were huge and food was great. Some of the best chorizo I've had. Charging $.50 per take out container to take home leftovers when thay give you so much food is a bit ridiculous when the alternative is them throwing away your food that you cant finish.
