Friendly staff, filling food.
I don't know if they went through new management or what the deal is, but the food was horrible! my husband's burger was not even cooked all the way. the onion rings were cold and soggy. it was over all an expensive nasty dinner. I use to eat there all the time when I lived in town in 2014 and it was absolutely amazing! I was bragging to my husband about how good the food is and I ended up being very embarrassed because its was absolutely horrible. we definitely will not go back. on top of the horrible food, the staff was completely rude about the food when we tried talking to them about it.
A.J.'s is one of the few remaining places that stays open late. It's a perfect place to get a burger after night shift. Dine-in is very much like a typical sports bar with big screen TV's and a good selection of beers, but it's all-ages. Popular with college students. Waffle fries and funnel cake fries are outstanding.
Food is always great. Their onion ring is on point. The presentation is not pretty but the food does their jobs. They fill you up and they are some quality food.
Four adult and two children burger meals with waters cost us $63. Two of us got the atomic burger meal and it was bland. We asked for some hot sauce and we got charged extra for it. The best part, the sauce was very sour due to excess vinegar and not hot at all. The place was clean and observing COVID19 safe practices. Service was mediocre. It will be a while before we go back again.
