Singed a contract in January of 2020 pre pandemic as they seemed to be an upstanding business at the time. Post pandemic the entirety of the staff seems to have cut & run, NOBODY has answered the phones in 8 months. I have left several messages & emails with them and have yet to hear back. I have an active claim with the BBB against this gym as they have not stopped billing me though I have sent multiple notices of cancellation. This business is a fraudulent front to get your bank account information & social security number. I HIGHLY recommend another 24 hour gym with regular staff and month to month contracts. This place is clearly run by thieves. Hopefully this comment will reach the owners.

As an older person, exercising at Southside Health and Fitness is and has been great: Lots of variety in weight and cardio equipment that makes many work-out routines possible. Going to Southside helps tendons, ligaments, and joints feel better for my age group. The place is super clean, the staff is helpful, and members are respectful; people are focused on exercising. Easy location, plenty of safe parking. The yearly price is a bargain for one’s health and well-being.

The staff all seems friendly and it’s very clean. I’ve been a member for a couple years. They have a great variety of equipment from which to chose and almost anybody could find something they like to do.nnI feel like any gym needs a towel service and it seems odd not to have one. The equipment gets fixed slowly sometimes and the restroom/locker room could use a facelift but other than that it’s a great place to work out.nnIt’s neither the closest nor most convenient gym to my house, but I still keep going because I like it here.

Way too much money for what you get. Manager always has an attitude. Looks like he doesn’t even lift though. They close the doors way before they should & open the doors an hour after they’re supposed to. Can’t wait till my membership is up.

I’ve never left a single review on a company but I felt like this one should be my first. DO NOT SIGN UP with this joke of a gym. The second you sign a contract you’re theirs. I have been charged constantly w/ extra fees for stuff that wasn’t even my fault. I’ve paid $200+ than what I assumed I would have to. Goto the YMCA its down the road, cheaper, and no pathetic contracts.
