Concorde is an awesome choice for the person who knows what they want and are sure of their desire to enhance the lives of the patient and the experience you will provide while servicing them.

I am writing this review to inform you how great this institution is. My wife is set to graduate next month from Medical Assistant Program. I myself have never attended this program or school for this matter.nShe decided to work after being unemployed for quite a long time.nEven though she had a High School Diploma from Fiji Islands, it was invalid here in States because Fiji Schools doesn't give transcripts. At first Concorde College said she can not attend due to no High School transcripts, this was really heart breaking for my wife as she really wanted to work as a Medical Assistant.nThere is a very nice lady named Shannon working in the admissions dept, she advised that my wife take the GED and apply to the Medical Assistant program. She coached and motivated my wife, and called her almost everyday to give it a shot at GED. Thank goodness because of Miss Shannon my wife studied and passed her GED within three weeks.nOnce admitted to the program, the teachers were really helpful and helped her in every possible manner. She is graduating with honors 4.0 GPA. They not only teach the theory, but their practical portion of the program is very vigorous. She did twenty or more blood draws and injections, and became quite good at it. I am a Respiratory Therapist, and was frequently assisting her during her assignments and studies, I found out the program was detailed and went over the things a Medical Assistant will face in his/her daily routines at work.nMy hearty thanks to her instructors including Mrs. Anita, Miss Laura, Mrs Jennifer and Mr. Yohan , for bringing out her self confidence and believing in her.

Went here in 2003 when I was 17. Youngest to graduate the school in the Dental Assisting program. I found job after job after job with no issue. My tuition was only $4000 also after grants. I also got my EFDA and EFODA so the people saying you cant get that are wrong and probably shouldn't work in healthcare if they cant figure it out. Also a lot of students are lazy then blame the schools so don't listen to all the negative reviews. Also I have talked to surgical techs and they are now employed at OHSU making $28 hr after graduating from here.

seriously did not learn anything at this school, I passed it/graduated.. I have a job now I love. But in my opinion the MOA classes need a total rework. I have barely applied anything I have learned from there. Also, the one and only MOA teacher there is a total creep. sorry not sorry. further more, getting the final paper work together is horrible, so if you do choose to to, PLEASE START the second to last of your term. because no one will help you. this place had me almost having anxiety attack over it all with no direction.

I did love Concorde. I met a lot of amazing people and my first teacher was lovely (I think her name was Mrs.Woods). I was pregnant going into the program and had figured out how i was going to finish school being pregnant.I was very excited! I love teeth! I spent about 2.5 months in the dental program and unfortunately found out that my baby was not going to make it so i had to take a week off of school and eventually had to leave because i physically and mentally could not complete school with the loss of my babe. When i told Concorde i wouldn't be back after completing about 2.5 months of school they told me i would have to pay the whole tuition. They knew why i was leaving and i totally understand i signed a contract but, it would have been nice of them to discount my dental school tuition since they knew i wasn't returning and the reason behind it. They have full on asked me for money out of my tax returns and have taken double payments without telling me which wasn't good. I would have been fine with that if they had just let me know they were doing it. So next month i fully paid off my tuition for nothing. They got about 7 months of free money. It sucks man. sucks! I really wish i could be a dental assistant but, id have to pay another tuition and pay for a tutor :(
