Carrington College

Went through the DA (Dental Assisting) program, as soon as we went into quarantine we immediately switched over to Microsoft Teams. Even though it was hard to find an office to work in, the staff kept looking and found a nice place that was also super close to my house. The classes are very hands on (we went to lab in masks, 5 students at a time and following the CDC guidelines). The instructor knows the field well and loves her job. Overall was a way better experience than I was expecting. The last 9mo flew by quickly.

I went through the veterinary assisting program at Carrington. Lots of hands on time, and the instructors were helpful and genuinely care about their students. Career services has been super helpful in finding a job in my field after graduating.

Worst school to go for Dental Assistant. Don’t go there!!! It is a waste of time and money. The teacher is rude. The school is so expensive and they are not paying for my RHS and EFDA exam. I took my Exams and paid out of pocket. I recommend everyone to go to PCC. It’s a long process but it will be worth it.

DO NOT GO HEREnnI went did the dental assisting program. First off they rush you in and convince you to start classes as soon as possible without even giving you a chance to think about it. The teachers are all just a mess, it’s extremely expensive and not even CODA accredited. You rush through so much when you go on extern you’re like a chicken with it’s head cut off. They also messed up my financial aid so on top of having student loan payments I have to pay Carrington also. They promise to help you find a job after graduation but here I am being ignored by everyone with no job. You can get hired at an office and work as a dental assistant and have the doctor sign off for you to get your EFDA. It will save you $20k! Or just wait it out and go to an actual college with professors who care and know what they’re doing. Carrington is a money hungry school that just gets you in and pushes you out on your own no matter all the “promises” the shady staff make. Stay away for your own good!

I liked coming here you have to stay focused get in get out dont give up on your externship..the only thing I hated is that the iPad is in your tuition but not your state test fees. The school says to save your own money to pay for your testing. At Concorde the students test fees is in the tuition so they are actrully certified by the time they are an extern. The books on your iPad eventrully expire where I had to end up going to amazon and buying hard copies with my own money when Concorde they get to keep their books because it's in their tuition not an iPad that's evetrully going to expire. I wanted to go to Concorde but they wanted cash up front so Carrington was the last option.
