The space isn't very open, and the lanes can be unreliable/break easily, but it is great for the price!

Fun place to go for a date or with friends. The bowling alley are the the basement of a building on Purdue's campus. Part of the bowling alley is an arcade and there are even some pool tables in the back. It is a great place to hang out on a Friday night or on the weekend. However, during the school year it has significantly more people since the students are back in town. Overall, I would highly recommend Union Rack and Roll for a night out and a good time!

For a college bowling alley it is nice. It is in the basement of the Purdue Memorial Union. If you park in the university street garage and take the tunnel over, it comes right to the alley. They have odd daytime public hours because of class, so definitely call if you plan to go during the day. Also has a few arcades and a lot of pool tables.

Lanes are constantly malfunctioning so it gets annoying after a while.

The alley is short and the lanes seem to have weird bumps and poor polishing. The pins are hollow and plastic meaning that bowling with less force does more for you. It's great for students who want to chill, but terrible if you are looking for a more professional experience.nnDisclaimer : I'm not an expert or pro bowler, just speaking from what it felt like when I was bowling there.
