Maple Ridge Campground

This is one of the nicest, cleanest and most fun campgrounds that I’ve been to. We just went during one of their “Halloween weekends.” Our two year old had a blast! The owners are super friendly and even let our son help feed their chickens and play with their friendly chocolate lab.nnThe day we were supposed to check out, it was raining non stop. We have a pop up camper and I didn’t want to wreck it putting it down soaked. They were very accommodating and let us keep it there an extra night. The next day while trying to leave, it took me four hours to finally figure out how to get my camper top down. After going through so much trouble, they didn’t even charge me for the last night. It was such a nice gesture.nnOne of their sons working the camp store was also very professional and helpful. The entire campground mood was just a positive vibe. Highly recommend it to anyone looking and we will for sure be coming back!

Great campground. Friendly. Bathhouses are clean as a whistle. Nice size sites. Oh and the store was very well stocked!

No hot water or real water pressure in the showers ever. Bathrooms are cleaned daily however that doesn't mean much because the place is packed with local weekend warriors who are often drunk. Weekends are also packed with teenage kids, most of which are usually respectful but not always. Only a handful of sites have sewer hook-up. If you are seasonal you have to mow your own lawn, otherwise they will mow once or twice a month. Bugs are terrible but that's not really the owner's fault. It's over-priced, but it's the cheapest place for the next 50 miles. Pet friendly but sadly no dog run or anywhere to take your pets for exercise. On weekdays it's a great place for the most part. Very peaceful. On the weekends not so much. Very chaotic and very packed.

We were visiting friends in South Ben and picked this place to park our RV. The grounds were very clean and well manicured. Everything well marked so easy to find d your site. Bathrooms were clean. Busy on the weekend but everyone was very nice. Met the owners also very nice and helpful. Pool was closed because of covid19 but the buildings and fence look new and so do the bathrooms and office. We had a great time.

Excellent camping experience. The owners were fantastic, well organized and have a wonderful campground. The bath house is one of the cleanest I’ve been to while camping and they have COVID precautions all throughout. I highly recommend visiting this campsite for a great retreat if you have “cabin fever” at home, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and happy you did.
