I want to start with the fact that we appreciated that Devon was able to give us an appointment for the next day for our RV generator which won’t start while most other places we called were busy for at least 1-2 weeks. However, after leaving our RV to the shop for the entire day (& almost $400 later), we got it back with no resolution- basically in the same condition that we brought it in. For a Cummins specialized service center, I expected the techs to be more savvy and be able to get to the root of the problem quicker and resolve it. I basically paid $400 for replacing a $5 spark plug and that was very disappointing.
A great team from the receptionist, manager, and service staff. It was well worth the 2 hour trip to receive service and be acknowledged.n“The make it happen attitude needs to be relayed at all Cummings Branches. I really can not thank the team enough for the superior service.
This would be a good place to have a shop. Out of all their techs only a few top notch engine guys, the rest are morons.nHowever they do have a very good parts department with super helpful employees!
We had diagnosis on our generator in our motorhome and replaced 2 fuse which was 4 dollars . Total cost over 423 dollars including hazmat material. We felt ripped off it shouldn't take a trained mechanic that many hours to figure out what the problem was.
Taylor accommodated us despite their busy schedule on a Monday. We were passing through I90 west bound and our RV Onan generator won't start and called around northern Indiana for a Cummins shop but everyone is just too busy (2 weeks out) to give us an hour to diagnose our issues. Taylor tried his best to squeeze us in and found way to diag our gen issue and found out that it is as simple as clearing a code and adjusting something. We we're back on the road with a working gen.
