TCU is the best credit union I have used from the Chicagoland area to Kalamazoo. I used the Portage branch the most for nearly everything. They're been friendly, efficient, and helpful. Did I mention efficient?! Thank you for more than a dozen years of great service!

eh, just offsetting the weirdly low-star reviews here. TCU as a whole is fine. I'm sure this branch is fine too.

if i could give them a zero i would i was a victim of mil tarty romance scam they did not tell me for 3 months. i had saving account with them the man stole over 8,000 i found out when i applied for credit. teacher does not hold any direct deposit for any days thy do not check routing number or checking account number before going into the bank they put the money in the guy tried to take out a loan on my house three external accounts. i went filed a police report the fraud team and the manger lied to the police. from the avon bank it was geek squad that found where the money came from. they were told by the police and cid that i was not held accountable for the money the bank stole the rest i had in there. they refused to give it back they refused to listen to the cid and the police now suing me for the money. ive been with them 17 years

Wow, I can't believe they charged my Dad who is a retired teacher $30 for a paypal account verification (deposit in/withdrawl out). Said to contact paypal to correct this mistake! Evil.
