I broke my key in half an hour away from home. Locksmith Robert Knight arrived quickly to smith me a new key and program the chip to my vehicle. He did great work and completed the task quickly for the amount of labor he put in. Great customer service starting with... they answer the phone. I know that might sound funny but I called several other locksmith companies in Portland during the week and during regular business hours and had to leave a message. Worse is that no one ever called me back.nnThe dispatcher's at Clark's answered the phone promptly, took down my information, gave me some advice on how to save a few bucks, and schedule an appointment for me. Pleasant, quick, efficient.nnAshton, the technician, called in advance to verify the appointment and then called again to let me know that he was a few minutes away. He was able to get my new key fobs programmed and get the emergency keys cut in just a few minutes and then verified that everything was working properly.nnI wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a locksmith company.
Alex was great! We needed a replacement key with a chip for our 2007 caravan. We went with Clark’s since 1. They seem to be more local 2. They were cheaper by $30 than competitors and 3. Alex the tech seemed really nice on the phone. Alex arrived just after the start of the anticipated window, wore a mask, and was friendly and professional. Will definitely call Clark’s the next time we need locksmith services.
Ashton was exceptional and went way and far beyond to find and program a replacement key for me after I had lost my only key fob. He made 2 trips to my house only to save me money. He opened my car door to get the necessary documents to show to the dealership so I could get a code to save me $100. Being new to Oregon (7 months) I won't hesitate to use this company again. I would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
5 star experience, hands down. Ashton helped me where I locked my keys in my car at work. I called ahead of time for after work- they were on time, efficient, and a no hassle transaction. My car also has frameless windows which he was able to work around without any damage. Just before I thought it was all said and done, my car wouldn't start since they were in the ignition draining the battery all day. Just before he left, I waved him down and he helped push and jump my car. Without him, I wouldn't have made it home after a 12 hour day. Thank you for the excellent service.
