Pretty cool place and bigger than I thought ! Plenty of birds and wildlife about. Right down the street is another trail so this location is a double dip for outdoor activities.
Very scenic. Nice quiet location.
Like most of the places we visit this was for birding. A wonderful place to bird in the Indiana dunes national lakeshore area with lots of bird of prey, shore birds and a great variety of birds in the nearby heron rookery.
