They have beautifully maintained trails with plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the wildlife.

We went to goat milk, cheese making class here. I was disappointed that we did not get to try milking and believe the class decription should have speicified demo. However, the teacher was knowledgeable and friendly. She had lots of great info and tips to share.

An amazing place to learn and hike. Merry Lea is a unique place with diverse landscapes ranging from wetlands to prairies to woods. They offer amazing programming for children in Kindergarten to students in a Master's program.

My wife and I have just arrived in the area to work at Merry Lea Jan 2017. We have loved all of the wonderfully kept-up trails and that this is open to the community...no entrance fee! We love to park at either of the two maintained trailheads and stroll along the forests, meadows, and lakes. We regularly see hawks, turkeys, and deer...we can't wait to see this place in the summer! And there is a farm!
