Before you allow them to charge you a fee for a debit card. It is NOT OK OR VALID for them to do so. Especially 50 cent charge when the cap is only 21 cents. STOP PROFITING FROM THE POOR. LOOK IT UP AND ASK EVERYWHERE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH SHADY OWNERS

Lived in Portland Oregon off and on for 12 years, this was the one of first place I went to in 2008. Still do. A little expensive, though their open when most stores are closed. Plus, the people who work there, are always nice.

The price gouging is shameful, especially being in an area where everyone is poor and struggling to get by. I've lived in this neighborhood for years and watched pricess sky rocket in the last couple of years. That being said,nLexie is the best, working that register in a frenzy, friendly and professional!nRobert too is an amazing asset to the store, quick, efficient and friendly.nI don't know the other guys name who is there most mornings, he's quiet, but is also very friendly and professional.nThe owner is very fortunate to have these fine, honest, hard working people working for him, especially considering the type of people that walk through those doors at any given time!nAnd whatever they're getting paid is not nearly enough for what they endure day in and day out!

The Night Girl Lexie is amazing. She always talks to everyone. Sure the people hanging out around arent the best but look at the area. There is nothing the store can do. It's always clean and Lexie always gets thru the long line very fast. I would highly recommend

Been going to this market almost every week day for 5 years, was gone for 5 months and now a two for 1.00 or .59 for one item is now 1.00. I will not be a patron to this ripping off the disadvantaged population. Most staff has always been kind and friendly.
