Everything worked out in the end. Took my car in to get a quick oil change before heading out on vacation the next day. Arrived at 8AM on Saturday and was the first one there. The owner Andy said his son should be there soon to take my car back so I decided to take a walk to grab a bit to eat. 2 hours went by and I was starting to get a little nervous because I needed to be at my grandfathers memorial service and the owner said his crew needs to figure out how to reset the oil light so he was gonna make them figure it out themselves. Finally at 10:30 I was able to pay my bill and run out of there so I didn't miss the service over in Nevada IN at 11:00. Almost 3 weeks went by and I get an invoice in the mail to pay for the oil change a second time. Called the shop to be put on hold a few times only to be told after 8 minutes of being on hold that I would have to talk to Andy. Advised them that they would have to call me back since I already wasted enough of my time waiting on hold. He called back promptly and took car of the invoice by marking it paid. In the end it all worked out but for a simple oil change it was more trouble than it was worth.
