Alvin D. Brown Memorial Swimming Pool

I have emailed and called multiple times about the swimming lessons for my children. Never received an email back. Every time I called they would state the person to speak to will call me back. Never heard back. Now summer is half way over and still have heard nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice pool but they should post when they have events so people don't drive all the way there & not be able to swim.

I love Browns in Pendleton!nNice open pool for kids and adults. Clean.nGood snack bar with shade and picnic tables.nMost families that attend are working middle class and do not allow their children to rough house and or act out of taste. ♥

Ok this was our first time to this pool. The bathroom in the women was nasty I agree with Kevin there was poop in one of the showers mold in the stalls in the lower wall the floors we very dirty and sticky. The bathrooms need a lot of work. Also, there was broken cement on the edge of the pool my son and I both hurt our toes on it. I went and told the office and all they did was put a chair over the 3 different spots. And to top it off my son cut his toes on a piece of glass and by the time I went to tell some one the office was closed. It bleed a bit. It was closing time so I decided to put this out there maybe they can fix the bathrooms and the broken concrete before some else gets hurt. Oh as well, I’m the bottom of the pool near the 4 ft the rubber seal is coming off my toes got stuck in the crack and a piece of the rubber seal came out got stuck to my leg. So, I got out and gave it to a life guard and told him what happened and he said oh yeah it comes out all the time like it wasn’t a big deal at all. WOW really so they knew the problem was there and before the summer started and they opened the pool it could have been fixed just like the concrete and seriously the bathrooms too. Don’t tell me they didn’t know these problems Were there. Ok I wouldn’t even give them one star but, it wouldn’t let me leave a review otherwise. I will not be back. All the staff was ver polite though I can say that if the problems got fixed I think a lot more people would come and you could charge even more. Oh, also, a man cut his foot open on a piece of metal sticking out of the concrete by the picnic Tables. I am at awe at all the problems the pool has not addressed and think it ok hello people are going barefoot out there. I normally don’t leave a bad review but, if I don’t say something then nothing will ever get fixed.
