Was a weekend get away to do for my family & myself. Wonderful experience, the weather was just perfect that day, the kids really enjoyed the whole zoo. Be careful with little ones because my favorite part about the whole zoo was the ups & downs of it but might not be the best to let little ones run free even if they are only a few feet in front of you! One wrong step & you'll have a scrapped knee or 2, but just the while adventurous feeling of it was enjoyable.

It was okay. For everything not being open inside the zoo, the kids had fun. There was only one booth open for animal food and the lady was extremely nice. But there really wasn't much else to do.

Really great zoo! We went through the whole thing in two hours, with a walking toddler, but the animals are close and well taken care of. The birds, at least, have a sign saying they're non-releasable. They've had injuries or sickness that makes them unable to survive in the wild, so they live here. Check out the walk-through aviary to the right of the front gate (as you walk in)- the birds caged there are nice, but the three dozen or so parakeets that fly loose are friendly and LOVE the seed sticks they sell you for $1. I carried one around, almost in my hand, for several minutes.

Very nice experience! The place was clean, the animals looked well taken care of. We've been coming here for 15 years and we are never disappointed.

Loved it, it is small, but the price is not to horrible and most the animals were lively despite the hot day. My kids loved the tower and getting all the way to the top to look out. The white peacock running around was cool too, my kids called him ghost because he just seemed to appear out of no where.
