Croisan Creek Trail reminds me of those I've hiked in Portland's Forest Park, but on a much smaller scale. It's very quiet, provides a workout with uphill climbs, and offers beautiful scenery. The unpaved trail gets a bit muddy in the winter (just wear boots), but in the summer it's perfect, with a tree canopy that offers protection from the sun and heat. Also, there was very little to no Poison Oak along the path, which was a bonus. This is without doubt my favorite hiking trail in Salem!

Quiet and secluded. Nice little hike through the forest.nAlthough be aware if you have a fear of snakes. I encountered two garter snakes, during the walk, slithering down the hiking trail.

Nice trail, mostly for locals as it goes between the yards of various residents. It's the remnants of forest slowly being overtaken by invasive plants (ivy, berries, etc.). Wished it circled to not have to walk back through the same way.

Awesome, hidden gem. Be respectful of the neighborhood. Stay on trail, leash dogs, careful for poison oak.

Nice walk through nature. Not busy at all! The many spiderwebs we an indication of that!
