Limited bathrooms for such a large park.

Beware of homeless camps near the river

This park has a wide variety of people. Lots of hiking trails, and not dangerous, as some might think. Miles of hiking trails, that I might add, wouldn't be there if it were not for the homeless people laboring through the blackberry bushes, and such. Great place to ride your bike on the trails also. I am glad to be one of tree many who have called this place home, off and on, for the last 7 years. Some folks probably need to clean their home, but many help look after the ones who are mentally or physically not able to do it themselves.

Each time I come close to this place I am saddened by the amount of homeless that is allowed to make permanent residence.nnThe trash spills out of the shelter, into the park finally washed downstream. Clean is not a word you can use to describe the park and its facilities. The grass may be clipped and trimmed but under the trees and in the restrooms are filth and human waste.nnI loved this park growing up. Sad about it now.

Brautiful Park. Excellent Poke-hunting grounds. However, at present, there is a growing homeless camp that makes it next to impossible to utilize most of the walking trails and and river access.
