AIM Water Treatment

I normally don’t post Google reviews because I find them to be ineffective. However, in this case I felt it necessary because of my recent experience with AIM of LaPorte. We just bought a home that had an existing AIM water system so we thought it best to call the company that installed it. The system seemed to be working OK but we still wanted it checked out to make sure things were set properly. I was advised of the $94.50 service charge which was acceptable to me, of course assuming that some “service” would be done. The gentleman showed up on time and was very nice, but he basically just looked at the system, turned the brine wash screw on top of the tank and said “everything’s working fine”...and he left. Really? I thought maybe for that 94.50 they would check to make sure brine tank was OK, maybe check water quality to ensure salt dosage was set properly, etc? After he left I opened up the brine tank myself and it was full of filthy water and the salt was caked at the bottom. I also discovered our dosage was set too high based on our water well hardness and I reset that per instructions online. It took me about two hours to do the work myself and if anything, our water tastes less salty now and the softener doesn’t seem to recharge as much as it used to. Needless to say, we were highly disappointed that they’d send a service person out just to “look” at the system, walk away and charge 94,50. What’s even more disturbing is I paid the bill when it arrived and wrote a letter voicing my concerns. They cashed the check and basically threw the letter in the trash with no response.nnDo yourself a favor, call a different company if you need service...or just go online and figure it out yourself. This company couldn’t care less about customer service and the bad taste (excuse the pun) they left in my mouth.

Been using AIM for my home and business for years. I buy water, salt, and have a water softener system. Polite, punctual, and professional! Highly recommend.

Family/locally owned. Salesman are also service technicians. Knowledgeable and good product.

Great to work with and fixed my nasty water.

The lady that works the desk is horribly rude and hung up on us.....would not recommend to anyone.
