My son has been a student at HPMA for 9 1/2 years and still has a great time in class every time! He started in traditional classes and is now on the HPMA competition team, trying to earn a spot on the US National Team. If you are looking for recreational classes or want to compete, this is the place to be! You can buy your belts at other schools or you can earn your belts at HPMA!
Coach A really takes the time to make sure that everyone understands the material. He cares about the students. 10/10 recommend if you are looking to do taekwondo or just try something new!
I started in late November and have had lots of fun since then.. The instructors are great, very helpful, and work well with you to make sure that your up to date on everything and know how to do everything right. I would recommend this school if you are looking for one. I give this a five star.
HPMA does a great job teaching to all levels. Love that it is a family owned business
We definitely recommend HPMA! Our 2nd grader has adapted to the physical activity and discipline required for this class (noteworthy: he’s ADHD). We initially tried it out because there are no long term contracts involved and weren’t certain our son would adapt. He loves the structure and diversity of the class (older kids, teenagers and some adults) and the fact he gets to train with students of varying skill levels (including elites). Coach “A” is great! He’s professional, focused and clearly highly qualified! If you’re looking for physical activity, discipline and fun, this is the place. If you’re looking to earn USA TKD National titles, this is ALSO the place! Our son has much to look forward to with HPMA!
