Tippecanoe River Run

One of the BEST camping places ive been too! The campground managers Angie and Ryan are amazing!!!! Beautiful scenery, well kept camping sites and plenty of fun for the kids!!! The kids are able to safely run around the campground and play at the playground, the mud kitchen, and the shore of the river!!!! It truly is a beautiful place to camp, and THE CLEANEST BATHROOMS IVE EVER SEEN AT A CAMPGROUND!! If you are looking for a local place to take the family for the weekend, I HIGHLY reccomend this lesser known treasure!!

Camped here over the weekend celebrating my aunts 50th Birthday and it was a blast! There was over 30 of us and we camped right along the river. The staff was very friendly and everything was well taken care of. I definitely think we'll be coming back next year!

We spent the week there, and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.nThe camp host Ryan and Sarah continually worked hard to keep the campground up, trimming around trees, picking up sticks, cleaning out fire pits after campers left, etc. They were readily available and helpful, but not overbearing or in your way. The campground is also patrolled frequently which we appreciated. The scenic views of the river and over-all atmosphere of the campground made for a very relaxing time. We look forward to returning later this season.

We stayed at this lovely site for one night on our drive across country from California to New York. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and led us to the most beautiful, quiet spot right on the river to set up camp. The bathrooms and showers were clean and easy to access, and we loved the fun activities, particularly the mud kitchen. We enjoyed every second of our time here and can't wait to visit again one day!

Absolutely a hidden gem of a campground. Sites were clean and spacious. The only reason we wouldn't give it a 5 is because of the male host. He is one of the rudest people we've ever dealt with. We read these reviews before we went and knew he could become an issue. Figured we'd be fine but, boy were we wrong. Hand's down would love to go back there again but not while he is there.
